Depositing a check using your MSGCU mobile banking app. After logging in, press the menu on the top left of your screen. Press Mobile Deposit. When you deposit a check using the app, you'll need to make sure you've added "For Mobile Deposit Only at MSGCU" to it. Choose which account you'd like to deposit the funds into. For our example, we'll select checking. Then enter the amount you're depositing. Now it's time to take a picture of the check you're depositing. Press the check front button to take a picture of the front of the check.You may find it helpful to turn your phone sideways for the next few steps. Place the check on a flat surface. Confirm the details are correct and that the check is signed and dated. Align the check in the window on the screen. When prompted, tap the screen to take a photo (don't use the camera feature of your phone). You can also choose the "AUTO" feature. The app will take the photo for you automatically after a few seconds. A small image of your check will now display in the Check Front area. Now press the Check Back button and get ready to repeat the process to take a picture of the back of the check. Again, you might find it helpful to turn your phone here. Make sure you've signed the back of the check and "for Mobile Deposit Only at MSGCU" is below your signature. Take a picture of the back of the check. If needed, you can adjust the brightness of the image by using the slider bar. Press the trash can if you want to retake the picture. And if the image looks good, press done. Press Submit when ready. Confirm all the details and press Confirm. If you need to make changes, press the arrow at the top left. You may see a screen showing that your deposit is pending. Remote deposits are reviewed before the funds are fully available to you. This is generally within two business days. You can check the status of your deposit by pressing history on the remote deposit screen. You may now make another deposit or go back to the home screen. As always, we're here to help.
